An initiative of Ahinsa International Charity
Be Active. Be Curious. Be Engaged.

Not another class. A place to build, compete, and lead.

ACE is a year-round youth development ecosystem — not another class. Students compete in math, build real apps, debate ideas, explore careers, create media, and help run the program themselves. It starts this summer and grows all year.

Summer 2026 Programs

Three ways to get in.

Open to all · Niagara region

Math Premier League

Form a team. Compete all summer. Win at the finals.

A team-based math competition where students don't just solve problems — they strategize, race the clock, and climb the leaderboard together. It's math made into a sport.

  • 1Form a team of 3–4 friends, fixed for all 4 weeks. Pick a name and a captain.
  • 2Compete across logic, arithmetic, geometry, puzzles, and estimation — plus fast speed rounds.
  • 3Points carry over each week on a live scoreboard. Every week counts.
  • 4Finals day — trophies for top teams, certificates and MVP awards for all.

Runs weekly · 4 weeks · Finals day · ACE members enter free; non-members welcome for a small entry fee.

Idea Lab

Bring an idea. Build it. Show the world on Demo Day.

Got an idea for an app or a way to help your community? Idea Lab is where students turn ideas into real software prototypes — apps, web pages, clickable demos — and present them to a live audience.

  • 1Pitch a software idea that solves a real problem.
  • 2The group votes and shortlists the strongest ideas to build.
  • 3Form build teams; each team has an Idea Lead.
  • 4Build and test a rough working prototype — done beats perfect.
  • 5Demo Day — present the problem, solution, and a live demo.

Short series · ends in Demo Day · Certificates for everyone; awards in friendly categories.

App in a Day

Use AI to build a real, working app — start to finish, in one day.

A hands-on workshop where students learn to use AI as a creation tool — turning an idea into a working app in a single day. A skilled developer-mentor guides every student to use AI responsibly, safely, and practically.

  • 1Start with an idea — use AI to brainstorm and shape what your app should do.
  • 2Design the screens — sketch how it looks and how people use it.
  • 3Build with AI — see how AI helps write code, test features, and fix problems.
  • 4Demo your working app to the group at the end of the day.

One full day · Seats limited · Bring a laptop if you have one; devices provided if needed.

The ACE Vision

ACE is more than a program.
It's a youth ecosystem.

ACE is designed to develop the whole student — not just skills for exams, but capacity for life. Guided by the values of Ahinsa International Charity, ACE shapes the next generation of leaders, innovators, and community builders.

Leaders

Students run real programs, hold roles, and develop the confidence to guide and inspire others.

Innovators

From Idea Lab to App in a Day, ACE students build things that didn't exist before they walked in the door.

Communicators

Through debate, podcasts, youth media, and presentations, students find and sharpen their voice.

Problem Solvers

Math League, Discovery Series, and Innovation Challenges train students to think analytically under pressure.

Community Builders

Through service, volunteerism, and outreach, students contribute to something larger than themselves.

Lifelong Learners

Real-world exposure, career tracks, and mentorship turn natural curiosity into lasting direction.
